Our little Superman

Sometimes Taylek thinks he is indestructible. He has given us some serious anxiety. In the last 3 months he has had some pretty hard falls. About 2 or 3 months ago he was jumping on our bed and dove of head first tripping over daddy's raised leg. This was one of the scariest days of my life. He started to have a faint cry and than his eyes rolled back in his head and he went unconscious. I grabbed him from Matt and told him to call 911. He did and while he was calling and talking to the person on the other end, Taylek started to come-to and cry. He complained of his head and belly hurting. By the time the ambulance got here he was able to walk and tell them what happened. We woke up so many times that night to check on him.
A few days later we were at an out door swimming pool at a friends house. When Taylek fell off the stairs to the water slide. Probably 6 feet from the ground. He fell again head first onto the hard rock ground. I was so scared. I grabbed him and held him and cried with him. (I had been standing at the bottom of the slide to assure that he did not fall and before I knew it he had slipped and fallen and I was not there to catch him.) I felt so sad and again we woke up many times that night to check on him.
A couple of weeks ago we were at some friends house across the street and Taylek was playing in the kids room, when we heard a cry. Matty went into the room and Taylek had fallen out the window down 10feet into the basement window well that was lined with gravel. Matty found Taylek with a bloody lip and gravel all over his face. Out of fear and love for Taylek, He jumped out the window to get him. Taylek survived with a fat lip and some scrapes and bruises over his face. Again, we woke up multiple times that night to check on him.
This picture was taken Sunday September 13, 2009 after he fell out the window.
Since than, he grabbed the iron off the ironing board and burnt his wrist pretty bad and got hit with a frisbee going full speed right in the bridge of his nose. He got hit with the frisbee by just being in the wrong place at the wrong time during a birthday party when some adults were playing frisbee.
My poor little boy. Taylek I love you too much. I only with I could prevent you from getting hurt all the time. Your daddy and I have discussed a padded room, and though that might be fun at first to bounce off the walls, it might get boring after a while. So we decided to let you experience life but we are praying that there are some experiences that you do not have to go through. We hate to see you hurt physically, emotionally, or spiritually. Taylek I want you to know that any time you are hurting so are we and we will be up in the night "checking on you". We love you Taylek!
