Our New House

We finally made it into our new house at the end of March. We were so excited to move in. There was so much painting to be done. We spent the entire month of April painting and still are not done. The entire house was painted this funky yellow color as you can see in the pics. The ceilings are so high it was scary to climb to the top of the little giant ladder and barley be able to reach. Matty bought a spray gun for the ceilings and Wes came over to help him do them. This made it go much faster, but was real messy. We did not know that you have to cover up EVERYTHING or it gets paint specks on it. oops. Live and learn right?

Taylek was forever climbing the ladder with daddy. He has no fear, which gives me a little fear (how does that work?) He always wants to help. Here is a pic of our big chocolate wall. We are so thankful for the Wes & Bell, the Botts and the Parkers for coming to help paint.

Always time for a break to watch a little cars. Cars and Wall-e were Taylek's babysitters for the month of April.
Notice the carpet. We were excited to have this carpet changed and get new fresh clean, never pooped on carpet (they should advertise it like that).

We feel so blessed to be in our home. We have painted almost every wall in the home and yet have a few more to go as well as lots of touch ups. We have put a lot of effort into helping our lawn turn green again and filling a trampoline hole in the back yard. Even with all the things we have left to do we are so happy to be here. Our home is perfect for us and our neighborhood is great. We feel like our Heavenly Father has blessed us so much.
