December and January have been great months for us. We have had a lot happen in this time. We left to go see Jenny in Omaha, Nebraska (13-hour drive) for her graduation from nursing school. That was so awesome. It was great to see her and Chance. We love them so much. Taylek and Keatyn have so much fun with them. She had a great party and it was just nice to be there visiting with her.
After visiting with Jenny and Chance for a few days, we left to go to Gillette, Wyoming (10-hour drive) to visit with Matt’s mom and Bobby and the family. That was fun too. Visiting Grammy and Bobby is always fun for Taylek and Keatyn. They love to be spoiled with hugs and kisses, treats and gifts. Little Taylek got sick while we were opening presents and was so sick. It made us so sad for him.
Heidi Bryant Came back with us to our house on Dec 24th (8-hour drive). It was so fun to have her with us. We were terrible hosts. Matty and I got some nasty stomach bug and were throwing up from the time we got home until the middle of Christmas day, than poor Heidi got sick on the 26th. Crummy!!! Nonetheless, it was so so so much fun for us to have her here with us.
January Matty started teaching 5th grade. We are so excited he was hired. He is real blessed to have been hired as a student teacher. This does not happen with many students. He likes his class but sure has his work cut out for himself. The class is really behind due to some neglecting from the previous teacher. I am so proud of my Matty. He will be an awesome teacher.
Since I have been working less hours, my house is getting better and I am loving the time I spend with my babies. I love to be a mommy. I have also started cooking less in the microwave and more on the stove again. It is great. Matty and I even got a membership to the local rec center and I have been going to the gym every day. I feel so good. . . well sore sometimes… but good.
Taylek is just about all potty trained. He has an accident about once a week when things are different. Like visiting others or having friends over. He makes me so happy. He always says, “I go poop in the potty, it makes you happy.” He is right it does for sure make me happy. He still loves and helps Baby Keatyn so much. I love to watch them together. Taylek is learning to sleep through the night with out having us crawl in bed with him every night. We finally put our foot down (even though we like to sleep with him sometimes, we don’t want him to “need” us to.) Taylek loves so play superhero. He jumps off the end tables and says, “Look mom, I am a super hero.” He is my superhero.
Keatyn is almost 15 lbs and only 4 months. She is cute and chubby. We love to kiss all the time. 2 weeks ago, she rolled from her belly to her back. I cannot believe how fast she grows and things change. I am trying to savor every moment of my little people’s lives. I love them so much. Keatyn just started sleeping longer at night we try not to feed her for a period of 5-6 hours and just give her, her binky. She has been doing well. I am so glad. Sleeping has been something that has been foreign to us and we are loving the nights we sleep for 6 hours in a row (it does not happen often but we love it when it does). Awh!! Keatyn is laughing and squeeling so cute now. It is so fun to make her laugh. Taylek loves to “scare” her he growls in her face and she laughs.
Our little family is good and happy. We are adjusting to our new adventures going on in our lives and loving every minute we get to spend with our little family.

The drive was so long, I have never seen my babies sleep so much. I like to watch them sleep and wonder what they are dreaming.

I did not cut taylek's hair for a long time and put some hairspray in it when it was wet and this is how curly it was. I could not believe it.
